Who is Tracy DW?

Tracy DW (born Tracy Diana Williams) is a British Female Gospel and Soul music artist based in Watford but originally from Bedfordshire. As a singer, songwriter and performing artist, Tracy DW owes her inspiration and influences to some of Gospel music’s biggest icons and greatest singers and musical families of the genre, such as The Clark Sisters, The Winans, Walter Hawkins, Andre Crouch and the Disciples and Commissioned. Tracy also draws influence from some of the more recent contemporary gospel and secular artists such as Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Summer Walker, Jasmine Sullivan, H.E.R and Lucky Daye.

During her formative years Tracy gained experience performing with choirs in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Arena, working with artists from Barry Manilow to Jonathan Butler. Always on the look-out to improve her vocal skills, Tracy has also performed in more local venues such as the Blues Kitchen in Brixton, South London and more recently took advantage of the opportunity to participate in vocal workshops and performance with the ever popular House Gospel Choir.

Tracy believes that having faith in your own capabilities and potential is the first step to understanding who you are and what you have to contribute to others on your journey towards success in life. Having faith in early 2018, Tracy decided to take the first steps in beginning her own journey as a UK Independent music artist and creative by teaming up with ‘Eugenius Musica’ (Guess Productions) based in East London.  Through combining her love of singing with song writing and recording Tracy now creates her own unique brand of Soul and Gospel. Enthusiasts of Tracy’s music like to listen to other Christian artists such as Marvin Sapp, Mercy Me, Toby Mac, Amy Grant, Fred Hammond and The Staple Singers.

Tracy released her debut single ‘He’s Alive’ in January 2020 and this was followed by her second release ‘Last Hour’ in August of the same year. Both tracks have been aired on the Caribbean Broadcast Network and have been continually requested for air play on NAM Radio global since the end of 2020, proving popular with listeners on the station. Being an emerging artist during the COVID-19 pandemic has certainly been a huge challenge to Tracy’s artistic growth but she believes that the time has come for her to be more focused, strategic and purposeful about developing her artistry and she aims to do just that with her third single ‘Blessed’ which is due for release in Autumn 2022.

Tracy seeks to expand her platform and fan base, putting her audience first and embarking on performing her work, which like all good music is always a celebration of her faith, a reflection of life’s many experiences and an expression of her authentic self.

Tracy welcomes you into her musical world and invites you to share her journey.
